Indoor Air Quality (IAQ)

Broad Spectrum

Indoor Air Quality is determined by the level of airborne contaminants. Studies from around the world show that:

  • Normal outdoor air carries 50 to 600 bacteria and mould per 1,000L of air
  • “Clean” indoor air carries 1,000 to 2,500 bacteria and mould per 1,000L of air
  • When indoor air gets musty, or people start to show ill effects, the air usually contains well above 2,500 bacteria and mould per 1,000L of air

In-house case studies reveal that readings from 3,000 to 16,000 counts are typical for contaminated indoor areas.

The concentration of contaminants is typically higher closer to ground level. It is no wonder that children are frequently unwell due to the poor air quality often found within their air space.

PUREFOLIO Gel kills 99% of airborne viruses, bacteria, fungus, mould and spores.

PUREFOLIO Gel was shown to come into contact with 78% of airborne particles every 10 minutes, killing any pathogens travelling on that particle.
After 24 hours the result demonstrated a microbiologically safer indoor environment.
